To send a message, navigate to the “Message Board” then click “Create New Message”. Select the message type, audience, add a title, description, pictures and send.
When you select the message type you decide how many users will be receiving the message. By unit allows you to message everyone living in one or multiple units in a building. The individual option is for messaging one or more specific individuals in a building. Messaging by groups allows you to select one or more groups of users. These groups can be created by clicking the ‘Groups’ button on the ‘Home’ page. Lastly, you can message entire buildings.
- Checking the ‘Allow Public Conversation’ box makes messages one-way; you can send messages, but residents can’t respond or comment. This restriction prevents tenants from collectively arguing against the Manager.
- Messages sent directly to a single tenant are encouraged to be a conversation. We recommend selecting ‘Allow Public Conversation’ so tenants can respond and comment on the message.
